Should Aaron Rodgers Retire? Fans Say Yes.

Aaron Rodgers – Green Bay Packers

Aaron Rodgers is one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. The Green Bay Packers quarterback has won two MVPs, has been named to six Pro Bowls, and has led the Packers to a Super Bowl victory. Rodgers is also one of the most beloved players in the NFL, and many fans would hate to see him retire.

However, the question of whether or not Aaron Rodgers should retire is one that has been hotly debated. On one hand, Rodgers is still an elite player who can make plays and lead the Packers to victory. He is still in his prime and is capable of making plays that can change the game. On the other hand, Rodgers is 35 years old and is not getting any younger. He has suffered numerous injuries throughout his career and is beginning to show signs of age.

Ultimately, the decision of whether or not Aaron Rodgers should retire is one that only he can make. If he is still feeling physically and mentally capable of playing at a high level, then he should continue to do so. However, if he starts to feel that he can no longer perform at the level he once did, then retirement may be the best option.

But we were curious if NFL fans think Rodgers should retire:

  • 50% of Green Bay fans say Yes
  • 84% of non-Green Bay fans say Yes

This shows what kind of a threat other fans still see Rodgers as – they are still used to seeing their team lose to Rodgers. But it also shows plenty of Green Bay fans are ready to see him go as well, they likely have a clear memory of his better days.

Whether Aaron Rodgers should retire or not is a personal decision that only he can make. There has been speculation that Rodgers may retire in the near future, but until he actually makes a decision there is no way to know for sure.

We did ask one other fun question to all survey respondents. If they think they could beat Aaron Rodgers in a fight.

  • Over 20% of the people surveyed believe they would beat Aaron Rodgers in a fight.

Rodgers might be past his prime but I doubt 20% of NFL fans are going to beat him in a fight anytime soon. But we all know our fair share of delusional fans.
